LA TABELA started in 2012 as a communal dinner party hosted by Chef Jerumel Laygo. His California-French fusion style along with the farm-to-table experience has grown to be known as one of L.A.'s favorite dinner experiences.

Party for 2 or a party for 40 Private dinner parties are our specialty. If you want to book a party for yourself feel free to book the entire table, and let us do all the work for you. If you would like to book your own night please inquire for catering @ info@latabelacom. Its easier to host a party where everything is already provided for you. B.Y.O. is also permitted with no corkage

Born and raised in Los Angeles Graduated with honors from Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena California and externship in Barcelona Spain

Staging for Chefs like Wolfgang Puck And El Bulli Jerumel started to create his own unique style he calls California French Fusion. On his return from Spain he was mentored by Chef Kevin Meehan of Kali and they started Kali Dining a pop up dinner mogul that swept all of Los Angeles 2012-2014. Two years later Jerumel teamed up with Brandon Dicaprio of Circle Rock Ranch and they launched La Tabela the Farm to Table Experience. Set in the pocket of Topanga Canyon in a little wooden Shed they would serve 8 course with all ingredients grown and cultivated on the mini farm

As his parties grew and the word start to spread La Tabela began to expand to malibu beach houses downtown lofts and intimate backyards settings in hollywood hills and silverlake

LaTabela now has a number of celebrity clients as well as partnerships with some Hollywood's biggest companies. Although we specialize in intimate dinner parties we also cater to weddings showers and special events as well 3 day retreats in Joshua Tree.

As LaTabela grew Chef Jerumel also did. He started to travel to Costa Rica and took a course in Plant Medicine under Rachel Thomas in the rainforest jungles of Limon, with his family, he spent time with the bribri tribe and learned about the spirit and healing factors of plant medicine. Today you can find his menu fluttered with medicinal ingredients and herbs.
